mason could play Wednesday! This is according to Nolan Smith and his "tweet". Duke medical personally told our staff in two w
eeks he'll come back, so either he made a miracle recovery, or they just wanted to keep it on the down low. This isn't confirmed yet, but there is a
possibility he'll be back for the Wisconsin game
Wednesday.
This is THE big factor for Duke (pun intended). They need a better big guy in there, and perhaps Plumlee can provide that. He's going to be coming off an injury, so I wouldn't expect too much too soon. Also, he's a freshman, so he may need some time to realize his talent at this level.
ReplyDeleteHowever, any big guy with moves is what the Blue Devils need. They get even a decent performance from Plumlee and you are talking about a great team. And let's not even talk about how great Duke could be next year with some of the recruits coming in (Curry, Kyrie, etc.).
yes i agree with every word you said, even the part about next year. But don't look ahead, because if Duke is playing this well without Mason Plumlee, who was said to be their best post player before the injury, and a Kyle Singler who isn't playing up to his standards, then imagen the team with an All-American playing Singler and a healthy mason Plumlee!
